PoMC Workshops for Port Capacity Project REMINDER

    REMINDER
Last local opportunity next Wednesday evening 27 June 6 pm
    Port of Melbourne Corporation
    Port Capacity Project workshops
Your invitation to attend scheduled information
    and workshop sessions

The Port Capacity Project will redevelop Webb Dock to an international container terminal, including new direct road connections to the M1 Freeway – removing Port traffic from local roads. A new automotive terminal will also be constructed along with Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) facilities for vehicle custom fittings.

Over the coming weeks, a number of workshops and boat tours have been scheduled to provide people with more information about the Project and importantly, to seek their feedback on what’s important to the local community and what should be considered in the designs. To get the discussion going we have developed a number of concept clips with some ideas that could be incorporated around the Port ‘buffer’ areas which we will go through at these sessions. The feedback will then be used as part of the design brief to inform the Project designs.
